About Me
Käännöspalvelu Meno-paluu offers translation and language services, operating usually in Tampere and sometimes on the road. The company name refers to a two-way ticket, which translation always is.
Olen valmistunut filosofian maisteriksi Tampereen yliopistosta pääaineenani käännöstiede (englanti). Opintojeni yhteydessä suoritin myös teknisen viestinnän erikoistumisohjelman. Lisäksi olen opiskellut tietojärjestelmätiedettä Jyväskylän yliopistossa.
I have worked as a full-time translator since 2004. In this time, I have gained experience in several fields, ranging from technical and commercial documents to audiovisual subtitling.
I am familiar with the most commonly used translation tools, and I’m not afraid of getting to know new tools or whole new subject fields if necessary: this is part of what makes the journey of the translator interesting.
